Since we are finally posting pictures from the wedding here are a few of my favorites.

My memory card was full and I FINALLY loaded the pics to the computer...

wall of fame.

so the real reason that i gotthe yellow is so that i can put up my wall of fame! i had this super fun idea...and i went with it! and i didn't even see it in a magazine...it's just my own idea.

so last night i painted my wooden frames. this morning i hung the curtain rod. and the crowning event was hanging up my favorite people, my heroes, my little friends. it brings so many smiles to my face to look at them and love them!

so, if you don't see my little friends from your family hanging from my wall of fame, please send me your picture and i will get you right up! there is room for all of you...and room for all the little people to come! mom's can email pictures and i will print them or you can send them. (also, if you have a current family picture can you please send it. i have pictures of all your families in my basement and i would love to update them!)

the "YELLOW"

so, i got one of these! i bought it forever ago but just decided that it was probably time to use it. so i charged the battery and just started drilling! kidding...i didn't! but as you can see i bought "two for the price of one!" such a deal...and that little guy is going to come in super handy when i build me a deck! can you only imagine?!

please also note that i got all the drill bits and extenders and i think at one time or another i have been on the phone with one of my brothers (even the one with the pink drill) asking how to do something!

i'm getting the hang of it though and i have only had to putty up like 12 holes! making progress!

Move those Presses!

After many months of decision making and plans for a new building, it happened. Late on a Thursday night in May the press was transported to Lindon and by Wednesday we were up and running. Occupancy to the offices will take place
before the end of June and we will all be back together as our Express Family.

Ashley says YES!

In the early morning hour on May 7, 2010, just a few miles into their morning run, Tyler popped the question and we are having a summer wedding. July 17th is the big day. It is truly a love story and we have all been turning the pages for months to see what is up next for these two. We are pretty sure the celebration will never end for them. Plans are under way for a garden reception at the Guymon's on Friday and then a wedding breakfast at the Standifird's on Saturday before the marriage in the Mt. Timpangos Temple Yipee!

summer readers....

well, as i have had time to visit my arizona family, we have started a little tradition. it includes BARNES & NOBLE and sonic! (don't worry, sonic usually happens RIGHT before dinner...and you can get a LARGE shake just don't tell mom!) everyone is allowed to choose one book and sometimes two when you look at me with "the eyes". one thing i love about all the moms in our family is that they have encouraged their children to love books, the library and reading! and i love helping that love of books.

so those arizona kids are crazy readers...they got out of school on thursday, headed to the library on monday and jonah has already finished two books! shocker i know! so a few weeks ago i thought it might be fun to send them a summer reading list and have a little contest. really it is so that I will get back to reading (i have been slacking...and i want to be like jonah!) so really this is a selfish endeavour. and there is no one to push you to be better like little people!

well i knew this wouldn't be such a challenge for jonah, so i decided it would be fun to start jonah a book review blog. how fun is that?! he can read, then review and then i will know what to read. and he will read and review and practice writing for the day he becomes a big author! i can't wait to see books through his eyes. i have added his blog link to our blog...so watch jonah read!

(and as a side note, if jonah becomes super famous from his blog and gets invited to be on oprah; i get to sit on the stage with him because i was the super cool aunt that got the idea to start the blog! yes, also a selfish endeavour!)

For Sale

It is a beautiful spring day in AZ. We just picked a 5 gallon bucket of lemons off our tree and the kids decided they wanted a lemonade stand. They cut the lemons, squeezed them and mixed in the sugar and water, Joshua made the sign. We wish you were to to support these little entrepreneurs.

the purple party....

ellie turned 3 on 2.27. when i asked her what she wanted for her birthday, she said that she wanted a purple present! and EVERY time i asked her she said the same thing..."a purple present". well don't worry in all aunt heather fashion i got her purple pajamas, purple shirts, purple shorts, purple dresses, purple shoes and of course a puRPle PuRSe!

that little peanut is so fun to be around! gotta love her!

he can even collate! after all those years of making us walk around the bar to earn money for family vacation...he still has it in him!
