helpin' out a sista!

okay girlfriends....i just received the GREATEST swimsuits ever! and i totally have to share! especially because kristin spends her life at the pool and once allyson is in vegas i am sure she will be competing with the ashby's for the best tan! and kristin, i like these better than shade! can you believe that! the bottoms are great! they have a waist band that you can either wear up or fold it over...and it doesn't really matter if you wear it up or down, because the tops are SO long that they cover everything. and the material is awesome! (do i sound like an infomercial yet?)

let me know if you have any questions...

i will include the link! happy shopping!

Extreme Makover

Emma and Hannah (5 1/2) thought it would be fun to give Emma a makover. Luckily, the other kids told us the two were locked in the bathroom. With scissors still in hand, Hannah opened the door for me. Yikes! We decided to let a professional finish the job (she cut the rest to match the length that Hannah had already cut).

The Crew

Measure twice, cute once.
As you can see Lucy likes to get down
and "dusty".
She knows all the names of Dad's tools.  She isn't such a fan of the saw, thank goodness.  We have been spending a lot of time in the basement lately, but we never miss Handy Maney.

Warmest of weather. . . continued

What a treat for me to spend time with all the little people that I love the most. . . from Tucson to Denver to Kansas. I love the trips to the park, to Micky D's, the malls, and even watching a movie or two. Then I get home and wonder why we didn't pop corn for "Over the Hedge", I wish I would have hugged them more, read more books together and asked them more questions so I could listen to them talk about the important things in their lives. I promise to do better, I need to make notes so I can have a better game plan.
