Can't forget Grandpa Ron

"The Family"

The Blessing

What a treat to have family who were able to participate in this day.

September 18th, 2008 "The arrival of Baby Henry"

He weighed 5 lbs. 4 oz. and was born at 7:15 p.m.
It's about time we shared pictures so
let's see if I can get this to work!

Top of Utah Once Again. . . Longest Run by Two Best Friends

The race is done, Ty's packed in ice
I'm not so sure he'll do this twice!

They cheer dad on through rain and shine,
until he crosses the finish line!

It's our Michelle, isn't she great

Go Team Go

While we were getting in the car to go to Taylor and Riley's first soccer game, Emma told me she needed to change. When she came out to the car she was wearing a Bronco cheerleader dress-up. Too funny! Not sure why I didn't get a picture of her that day but here she is at her Pom class (she didn't want me to take her picture).

Taylor and Riley love soccer. They had a combined total of three goals last week (the only three of the game). Go Grey Rhinos! Riley loves to play but doesn't want to make anyone else sad so he won't kick the ball when other kids are near it. But Taylor on the other hand is so competitive. He has voted himself the team captain and helps the coach direct the players. He is good though.

Playing for the Trophy

We were hoping to increase our odds of getting the pig back to Colorado but sadly we did not succeed. Next time Christina and I are going out too.

Another transformation. . .

Good Bye Sauna!

Going, Going

GONE!

All the way from the 'Out House'

Well Brandon, don't you worry, it will always be "your bedroom".  Only thing left to do is hang a few towel racks, slide in the laundry baskets, and hang the shower door.  Ron is not waiting for the door, seems to work just fine without it for him. . . and me too.

Oh the summer memories...

What cute Cousins!

What can I say about this scene?
Thank goodness for Don!  Keep 'em in  line.

Did you ever think it could be so good?  Aren't we ALL glad they left the trailer in Ammon behind, and found their way to Highland; way before the Vorhey's got here, I might add.  ( is that their name?)

To our Aunt Heather

Are there actually kids around the world that don't have an Aunt Hedder?  Where do these kids sit at a parade, and who teaches them to cover their ears when the motorcycles are just too loud.  And who buys them Otterpops?

Where would we be if we didn't know about being "Fancy", (surely only an Aunt would let a little girl out on the streets of Vegas looking like this:))

...And who would head the anti-sugar-bug campaign, if not Aunt Heather.

I think we should all take a moment to reflect on what life must be like for those w/o an Aunt Heather.  I for one am grateful I don't have to!  Thank you so much Heather for coming to Vegas to play with Lucy and teach her all of the important things as a mom I sometimes forget.   She has never brushed so good!  And thanks for acting like we didn't put you out- no cable during the Olympics and all.  We are so grateful for your help! and of course we want to send a special shout out to your boss!  Grandpa Ron- thanks for letting her come.  Thanks for being excited to be a part of our lives.
Love the Las Vegas Standifirds

Disneyworld

Here we are in beautiful Disneyworld... Everyday Christina was hoping that somebody would tap her on the shoulder and invite her to spend a night in Cinderella's castle... It didn't happen, but we did get to have dinner in the castle!

It's good to be close

It was fun to have the Ashbys stop through to see us.  We are so glad that we are on the way to more places now.  We are also glad that Uncle Ryan and the boys were finally reunited- after so long.  Thanks for playing with us.  Thanks Chuck Cheeze!

Mom's Roadtrip with Connie

Day One
Off to the golf course with the number one superintendent
in Las Vegas. What a treat. . . lots of little bunnies and

across the greens.

Brandon, sorry you missed the shopping at the Armani's!
Just prior to the OCMCO Concert with Connie and Janae!

Here is the Star. . . with his mother. Amazing french horn player joining Brandon for a horn and piano solo. "Rhapsody in Blue"
