Happy Happy Birthday

Look at them, and just know that we love them all. . . Kristin is wearing the
golden shirt to remind us it is her
"golden birthday" and of course we all know that Brandon is a big deal!

Hopefully you can identify both birthday friends
in this picture. We want to assign those that
can physically hug Brandon and Kristin today to
make sure they get hugs from those of us who
are to far away to hug them ourselves. lytm

"...and a little child shall lead them."

Taylor had the lesson last night for Family Home Evening. He wanted to make his own drawing to teach about Samuel the Lamanite. It was a great lesson!

My Little Helper

I think this is a girl thing, my boys never climbed into the dryer. It seems as though she has to be where ever I am.

Mom wanted to see the pig tails. This was not my idea, Sherida had to convince me. She did the first one and then I did the second. She went from my baby to a little girl, AHH.

So long Christmas Break. Hopefully, it wasn't too long for you.

In Case you missed our Christmas card...
We had such a great Christmas and a wonderful visit to Utah.  Thanks everyone for driving us around, watching movies, watching Lucy and taking us to the gym.  I don't want to say too much about all of the generous gifts or they may take us off medicaid:).  Just kidding.  Here are a few of our favorite highlights.  Sorry no pictures of Heather's car.
What a great Christmas it was!
We got to play with cousins who were so sweet to us...
Lucy and Dad were in a "re-enactment"
And Lucy was loved beyond measure.  Thanks for putting up with us.  We hope to see you again soon!

Dear Tyler

I guess if you prefer fish tacos...we'll see you in May, unless you're in Europe.  See you when we see you.  Until then we'll just eat wings.

Yes Again

On Tuesday Jonah came running in the house screaming like a crazy man. He was holding his arm and I knew it had happened again. The break this time is in his right arm, which will make math time tests and sucking his thumb rather hard. I hope this is the answer to break that habit. He will get his cast Friday, red and grey to make Tyler feel better. Besides that, and Kade's pneumonia, we are all great and glad to be back in sunny Arizona. This is why we live in Arizona. Thanks for a great Christmas. We love you all.

Gratitude for Grandparents

When G & G suddenly got rich after the sale of the condo they decided to share the wealth and asked me and the brothers to meet them at the Village Inn just before Christmas. They were generous to each of us as they passed out envelopes. Connie and I were in immediate agreement to share those monies with our children. . . the brothers asked us not to tell their children about the windfall. So each of your families were blessed through the love of Grandpa Gene and Grandma Joy.

Hopefully you will take a minute to let them know that you did actually get some of their gift and thank them for all their care, love and support. We are blessed everyday by having them in our lives.

PS: You can never know how much it means to them when they get a call, a visit, or a note from you. Thanks for taking time to be in contact with them and share a moment of your day.

A New Year

It's a new year and we all know what that means--a time change at church. It is going to take us a little while to readjust to 1pm church and maybe someday 1pm church will actually mean that we get to sleep in a little. Dare to dream! Taylor fell asleep in Sacrament meeting (that waking up at 5am really starts to wear you down) and Emma is a Sunbeam. She is so excited!
