go jazz!

so last night we headed to the jazz vs. the celtics game. for christmas travis gave dad some GREAT basketball tickets...and dad shared them with us, tyler, ryan & allyson, mom & dad and me. now the best part of the deal was that we had 4 tickets in the NICE suite...and 2 tickets in the lower bowl behind jerry sloan...about 20 rows up. we didn't draw staws or anything...mom and i sat in the 2 lower bowl tickets. so, we all got to watch a super game, but mom and i had to fend for ourselves when it came to dinner. don't worry though, mom and i received many text messages from tyler letting us know that the food was cold...and there wasn't enough of it...and the shrimp was too big for his mouth, he had to take two bites! whatever...what a sacrifice! mom and i did get to have frozed yogurt from the RED MANGO and we did sit 5 rows behind Elder Uchtdorf! so we felt pretty special! fun times had by all!

Vacancy...

Brandon and Christina moved into their new home today although there are quite a few of Brandon's things still in the room. It was very nice the last few weeks to have the built-in-sitter as we went Christmas shopping, to a few different holiday parties, and a date night or two. We can now officially state that 1/3 of the Standifird children live in Colorado and 7/18 of the Ron and Patty family line (compared to 6/18 in Arizona, 3/18 in Kansas and 2/18 in Utah.) Now that we have the majority I'm pretty sure that means more family functions need to occur on the East side of the Rocky Mountains.

Only one Standifird male left to live with us for an extended period of time - Tyler... we'll leave the light on for ya.
